To get meaningful results with a model you need to get the same Reynolds number, faster airstream or higher viscosity fluid.

Hoerner's book "Fluid Dynamic Drag" has good info about openings in streamlined bodies.

Theres a fair bit you can do with the tail of an M bike as well
Closing the hole is at leat as important as opening the hole IMHO.

Fully support a longer meeting.
Would like to let everyone run for the whole 8 days though rather than split us up.

Do not support 2 vehicles on the track at the same time.

Do suggest resurrecting part of the old timing equipment to allow sub 150 mph records be set on the current GPS course.

I'm keen for a longer meet, Thursday through Friday sounds good.
Would also be keen to let everybody run for the whole 8 days and get more runs that way.
