Have been looking around for a reasonable engine simulator ( reasonable as in value for $$) read many good things about performance trends engine analyser stuff so I did a free download demo of their premium analyser pro V3.9 enterprise (top of the range).....they ( performance trends ) say all feat...

Ronnie .......I need the current draw of the device to calculate the dropping resistance . some simple formulas to work it out Ohms law ..... for voltage drop resistor value R=V/I R=resistance in ohms V= voltage and I = amps ( current draw) to work out the wattage of the resistor needed P=I squared ...

Pete I understand your point BUT...... where/when has this hypothetical possibility happened ?????? I suggest never, here or state side re the 130 club.......lets add to those hypothetical scenario's ........ member or visitor races down the access road to the pits and crashes killing them selves or...

Having just gone through some budget exercises for some friends interested in building and racing at the salt....we hit a snag ....who in their right mind would spend a small fortune in building a race car/bike, ( I agree completely) when they don't even know if its something they like before trying...

Thanks blokes :) ....I expected it would be some what more than that :| I roughed up the cost for a reasonably competitive bike 200+ mph ( not including the purchase of the bike its self busa) in the 30K region ....that also excluded the riders safety gear . Ronnie both GM and Ford 1 bar map sensors are wired the following way
Pin A = ground
Pin B = sensor output
Pin C = reference voltage +5vdc
GM are Delphi brand and stamped either 039 or 460 or 883
