I have left him a message on his phone, he is now living at Wudinna and doesn't have phone coverage for his personal phone, I will contact him from work Monday. He was over this way last week or so for Bay to Birdwood but is now back over west.

Hey Stan, Yes I'm very close to the Lake and visit regularly as a part of my patrol district. I hate my location (lol). The photos of the Monaro you can either send them to Box 51 Wudinna 5652 or I'll PM today with phone number ect.

Plucka, I've just had a look on Google Maps and I think you win the prize for the closest DLRA member too the lake! With Doc and Trev a close second.

Anytime you care to take a camera with you and snap a few pics or poke a stick into the salt we'd be mighty grateful to see/know the results.

I've got some pics from when the bonnet popped open at a rather inopportune moment, I'll send 'em along. I came out with Rob Carroll and one of the firey's sent me some photos too.
Keep the shiney side up........

DLRA, Yer I'm pretty close and I love it. Not that I took this spot for just that reason, Ah O.K maybe I did.
I'll head up there on the weekend and get some photos for everyone. I was up there a couple of weeks ago and walked on it but very wet under foot.
Being that I'm so close I tried to submit my name to help set up on the Wednesday with Cooky,Thursday and Friday doing anything prior to Speed Week but kept coming up with a system error. :?: I have sent an e-mail to the hotmail address but I dont know how often thats checked. Are you able to sort that.
I'll PM you with my contact details.
