put in weather observations. tick box and you will see wind direction hope that the wind is keeping it up north from me in adelaide. forcast is for north east pastoral districts.maybe the blue shading is not hitting the ground as recently this has been happening in sa. double click on observation areas to see rainfall . paul.

8 days at 50mm evaporation per day will hopefully see us right.

No film crews with pressure washers too

Dont panic ! The link Gazza provided shows only light rain, with none falling on the lake, except perhaps at the very northernmost point. Pete. DLRA #6

Before anyone starts to panic too much, have a look at the Lake Gardiner pages, especially the one with the rainfall information and catchment boundaries on it.

"There are no major entry points for rivers and creeks to Lake Gairdner other than from the very North-West tip. Even when it does rain north of the Lake it takes a couple of weeks to get down to where the speed trials are conducted."
Keep the shiney side up........

OldTimer at 8.26 it was bucketing down..RED and TAN colours do not indicate light rain...just getting the facts correct mate..4 hrs later yes it was light rain in the north when you posted. :)
