Reminder---S.A. BBQ Next Sunday
Just a reminder to S.A. members, (& anyone else who would like to come along), of the BBQ next Sunday. We have around 30 coming at the moment, including members from Vic. & W.A. ! See ya there, Pete, DLRA #6.

where?
Having never heard of Beltana I just checked it on Google maps. I can see what you mean, from outer space it sure looks like "The Entertainment Capital of the Known Universe" I count about a dozen houses and a cemetery all miles from nowhere. I hope you're being well paid Trev.
Cheers

All,
One of my other past times, apart from DLRA, is, and always will be, 4WDriving around this great country we live in
Yes Dave you are right, not much at Beltana, (Near Leigh Creek) but there is plenty of 4WD Country at Beltana Station
Last time I was up there (approx 2yrs ago) everything was dry as a lime burners boot and they were destocking the place.
January this year they had 5" (125mm for you young bucks) of rain and all is green and wonderful hence the trip up there.
Saturday June 19th off to the Simpson Desert again, via Oodnadatta - Simpson-Birdsville and back home again, being support for 4 mates on motor bikes (I get to carry all the fuel, tucker, bedding, and booze )
Well enough about little old me, but I have to do something the other 50+ weeks a year when you blokes aren't racing
Cheers,
Trevor
