Issue Notes
The hemispheric long wave pattern has remained stable in recent weeks. There are five main troughs. Currently the most significant troughs are near the longitudes of the southwest Indian Ocean, eastern Australia, New Zealand, the southeast Pacific, and the Atlantic Ocean. Summary: Over southern and eastern Australia the cold front events with potential to bring widespread rain are now expected about 13 March to 17 March, 21 March to 25 March, and 4 April to 8 April. Rain events originating in the tropics and moving south are possible about 16 March to 20 March, 24 March to 28 March, and 29 March to 2 April. Over Western Australia the strongest cold fronts should occur about 13 March to 17 March, 18 March to 22 March, and 24 March to 28 March.

Also,,,the Pine creek bridge on the Barrier Highway (just past the SA/NSW border) looks to remained closed for 2 more weeks. until a temporary bridge is built.
