NSW Drown Your Sorrows BBQ

Post by Rob »

I got off the phone with Bones a little while ago and he's foolishly volunteered to host a BBQ of Condolence for anyone who can make it to Killara.

Details to be posted here as soon as we have some.

Cheers,
Rob

I'm there Bones and Big Gaz said he was keen.

I need to ring Kev Saville and let him know too. Peter B. said to let him know the details, maybe this time he'll actually make it ;)

I just got off the phone with Terry Clift (DLRA#21 but forgot to mention it, will ring him tomorrow.

Seems most guys in Sydney are not on here however or just lurk and don't post.

Cheers,
Rob

Too far for me Bones, got 52 weeks to get ready.
Borrowed a tube roller at a local boatbuiled today & rolled my main hoop ellipses.

If you want somewhere to camp Bones give a shout, I'm on the northside so about an hour to willobank.

Place isnt flash but it's yours if you want somewhere to crash.

G'day Bones,

I've mentioned to Rob that I would like to join you all at your place for the BBQ & Booze - hopefully this time I'll make it!
I assume Rob knows where you live and we will work out between us if we will share travelling arrangements (hint, hint Rob  )
Now, to work on the release of the "handbrake" (i.e. missus  )

Cheers, Pete

Thanks to Bones for providing the venue, bbq, salads etc. A bunch of likely lads to be sure.

L to R Alex (Bones Jr.), PeterB, Bones, Steve (Ratmeuller), Gary (Big Gaz) and yours truely.

Steve has offered his Annangrove workshop as a venue for future meetings and we discussed how to increase attendance at these meetings (amoungst other things). Thanks Steve.

World peace wasn't acheived, the rain held off apart from a quick shower and I think we all had a decent time.
