DLRA General Meeting - Jan 20th

Post by Cookey »

Just booked my flights across to Melbourne for the meeting and proposed testing of the new timing equipment.
Will get into Tullamarine just after 10:00AM and out at 6:15PM.
Anyone keen on picking up/drop off or sharing a rental ???
Cheers,

Kooky I'd love to share a taxi with you, what day are you flying? Can i have the window seat? If we stay over night i can get a good rate at the half moon caravan park, we can be bunkies. I can get off work anytime after 1.30 (we have a load of old seamen coming through) i'll get the bus up (not the yellow one, not falling for that again, took for ever to get there! But the windows were clean!) would love to meet up with you and all the others we have lots in common (do you like gladiator movies?) Cheers Holden1

Dear Paul why are you so unkind? Did you goat die? You should try to be more constructive and less nasty with what you posts, people have feelings you know! Sorry to hear about your goat. Holden1

Go easy on him Phil, he is obviously mistaken as your goat was sitting on your roof when I passed by on the way home this arvo.

Not sure how to get him down, Dave. I remember coaxing you down off a roof with a bottle of red once, that may work.

Excellent meeting was held with top tucka from the kitchen. :D :D :D :D :D :D
• Meals during Speed Week – Word from the Mt. Ive canteen is that they will be supplying breakfast and lunch similar to other years, but due to a lack of staff will only be able to offer take-away type food for the evening meal.
They will be also selling cold drinks and beverages as in previous years.

Well that's a real SOB to say the least, I'm going to get RSI with a can opener :?

Time for a volunteers register for the cooking perhaps....

Thanks for the heads up Cookey!

Rob
