Ice Supply for DLR's Speedweek 2013

Hi to all.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves; we are Dion and Edyta Higgins. You may remember us as we worked for Len and Joy for 2 years at Mt Ive Station. During which time we were able to witness first hand the DLR’s in 2004 and 2005. We then travelled some more and are now settled in Mildura and own the Mildura Ice Works. So, it is with great pleasure that we have the opportunity to be involved in this great event and supply the ice.

We will be arriving on Saturday, 16th February around midday, with approxiamately 4 tonne of block ice and 2 tonne of tube ice. From experience, we have opted to supply more blocks as they last longer and therefore are better value for money. We will only reserve ice for those of you with dedicated race cars which require ice for their intercoolers or drivers suits. Orders can be placed on our arrival. If this does not apply to you, be assured we will not run out of ice.

Pricing is as follows and is not subject to change. And from every bag sold we are donating 50c directly to the DLRA Club.
5kg tube ice $6.50 5kg block ice $8.50

At this stage our intention is to have scheduled selling times each day through the course of the event.
Homestead 6 – 6:30am & 8:30 – 9pm
DLR Camp 7 – 7:30am & 7:30 – 8pm
Lake Canteen 8 – 9am & 6 – 7pm
