Re: What are you Planning???
Cool Dave,
I personally know first hand what a great job you and Pete did this year under extreme conditions.
All the best with the Lotto plan, you have some competition.

Heh Godsilla,
I admire most of the stuff Lucky has built but saying that I don't believe we have ever had a more challenging racer for both the "norm" and the SCUITEINEERS. He is also very persistent with his own interpretation of the rule book according to the Lucky
His current bike was built from a piece of heavy wall tube that he added a pointy nose and tail, an engine and wheels.
Simple concept, then turn up to race.
That's Lucky. A true original thinker.
jpbyron, another fetus with a blower. Trust Honda. Some very smart guys have spent there time there....Lean on that crank

Re: What are you Planning???
I'm still keen on my bicycle motorpacing idea...Staying fit and training still. 110 mph would be the all time record pacing behind a motorbike. Outright record, behind a car, is beyond my financial capacity (175mph behind modded indy/lemans car).
3 kids under 5 and back at uni full time has slowed down progress on any plans somewhat. The current motorpacing record was set by a 50 year old, so i've got a while to go.

You'd have to wear full leathers and a properly approved helmet though (to comply with motorcycle regs), would that slow you down??

Coming along noice Cookey, a bit obvious the amount of thought you have put into your design. An overwhelming theme of KISS is what comes to me. A very clean design.
Boyracer, all you need is an existing racer to join forces. Build an aero bolt on for the back of their vehicle, this will satisfy the scruitineers then go for it.
Start a thread and ask the question. Never know less you ask eh. Good luck.

Cookie looking very good
Something about that motor caught my attention, a mate here had several 92's and 54's and some smaller ones
sold them off when he returned to NZ about 14 yrs ago,
he realy loved his gold paint and wrinkle finish black
Do you know the history of that one ??

Boyracer, one problem I see is that only one vehicle is allowed on the track at any one time.

The engine in the car is a 1955 Chrysler 301 cube Windsor block with '55 Hemi heads fitted.
The 301 is a "square" engine with the bore & stroke identical.
Greg,
I have 6 early Hemi engines, all were imported by myself from Washington State.

Re: What are you Planning???
RGV,
You do have a point. I have strongly supported Boyracer from day 1 and providing he maintains the dream I will continue to encourage him, this is a genuine record attempt. We would need to create a rule change to permit this type of attempt but this could be done by following proper procedure.
All power Boyracer, keep fit buddy. BTW do you know Lance Armstrong?
