SATA - SALT ATTACK 2013 OFFICIALLY CANCELLED

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
SATA Salt Attack 2013 is cancelled for this year.
There is not an alternative "Rain Date" for the event.
This decision is due to the lake surface still being very wet and the current weather patterns not helping with evaporation of the water.
Given that there only 9 weeks until the proposed running of the event, the chance that we would have good salt is considered to be most unlikely.

The SATA Committee extend our thanks to all members and racers who supported the proposal to hold this event and we will continue to work towards running the same proposed format in 2014.

Thanks Chris,
If not for nature's intervention the meet would have gone ahead as we have the commitment from racers to support such an event.
The backroom work done in preparing for Salt Attack 2013 has prepared us for future events of this format.
All previous differences that for some reason or other were perceived as being against the operation of the DLRA have evaporated and we all look forward to Speedweek 2014 and our meet later in the coming year.

You think we'd have some toey Drag Racers?
Bottom line we all want to race. Plenty of room for that.
