I think I will get a hammer and smash the piece of crap ignition,
At least the old girl went down fighting this year, got the licencing all done so can focus on the record next year, expired accelerating at about 140 mph for the 150 mph record , so can sniff it.

I think the mains are OK, didnt get to run on them, it was the mid range, but yep needs to be much fatter. Ive drilled out my needle jets another 0.5mm and am going to get a flat machined on the needles. And get it dynoed before its next run.

Tiny, you can take it for a spin any time. Ya never know ya might like it. 2 smokers I mean. Hang on didnt ya have one in a previous life? Come back to the dark side.

Juhno, that sux. There's room for you over here too.

Here is one of the reasons I did not attend speed week this year. Appears that sometimes when starting the guide arm gets thrown back catching the lock up clutch and breaking all the spring mounting points letting the lock up wander freely to wreck a little damage ....happened twice and no parts left......Going to attempt to work out a remote start method ....any ideas???

Hey Bones. Shell Racing M @ 20:1 as well as the pump set at 50%

Ive found an air leak at the base gasket of the most damaged cylinder, so that explains the difference between the EGT readings.

From what ive learnt since, Methanol likes to have load on it all the time, no light throttle and or load. I had both when it went.

Ill give it another try next year and wont spare the HP.
