It's been a few more weeks now. Any further news on Trent?

I'm hoping to hear he's improved with time.

I just spoke to Colin and things are looking much better for Trent. His message is:
Week 12 has made for cheers in the Clare family. Tent has turned for home & is recovering now with rapid gains Trent as of Thursday 11th has got his airway back & is talking well. The boy is asking lots of questions some easier than others to answer. Trent will over the next few weeks transfer to Hamstead brain injury rehabilitation unit for a stay. We can see serious gains in Trent's health over the last 2-3 weeks. Like a switch has been flicked Trents recovery outcome is moving in the right direction. Trent has sufficient dexterity that we can see in time he will be capable of directing his thoughts with phone & email. Colin

It's hard to express in words how good that news is.

I watched the incident unfold through my camera lens, and poor Trent and his family haven't been far from my thoughts ever since.

I'm very glad for both Trent and his family that his recovery is picking up, and here's hoping it goes all the way. This news has made my day.

The last time I had contact with Colin, he was due to go home in a couple of weeks, so he may be there now. Still got a long way to go but he's heading in the right direction.
Keep the shiney side up........

I spoke to Colin at the end of last week. Trent is in rehab still but in Broken Hill hospital so close to home and family after spending many months in Adelaide.
Trent did go back to the farm for a visit and did do a bit of driving which was surprising. His co ordination seems to be getting better but still walks with assistance. He fatigues quickly but is in good spirits. He is expecting his first child very soon and is very excited. He has a long way to go but is progressing in the right direction
Colin wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Hi to all Trent & Partner Bec are high on life with baby girl Hope Clare arriving in the last few days.
Trent is working in the gym with gusto & improves every day. Trent has targeted being able to walk around the hospital before he leaves hospital rehab & with his team of clinicians are targeting the end of October. This has been a long road & will continue to be for some time yet. That said we are starting to think about being at the lake 2016 so yes I believe the worst is now behind us.
Thanks to all who have supported Trent & ourselves we are truly thankful to have our Salt Lake Family
