Speed Week 2017

Post by DLRA »

The DLRA is pleased to announce that Marlo Treit and Les Davenport are bringing the Target 550 streamliner out to Australia for Speed Week 2017. Early days yet, the team is busy working their way through the logistics of getting the car and team to Australia. Marlo has indicated that a rear-engined roadster will be coming with him and several motorcycles may be interested in coming as well.
The DLRA has also had some initial enquiries from the Buckeye Bullett team as well as a couple of other privateers.
We will keep you informed whenever we can confirm any news.
Keep the shiney side up........

The latest Buckeye Bullet (VBB3) is a beautiful thing. It would be wonderful to see a really fast electric streamliner on the salt. Now if only we could get George Poteet and Ron Main to bring their new Speed Demon too.

See you at the startline

David now its confirmed that the target 550 team are a go. I don't think it will be long before Poteet and main throw there hat in the ring.

nobody wants to be the second person to go 500mph. 2017 will be a very interesting event me thinks.
