Posted on the Target 550 Facebook page today.

As a forerunner to shipping the Treit and Davenport Target550 car to Australia for the 2018 event on Lake Gairdner, Korey Bligh will be going to Australia November 4th. He will be in contact with the officials of the DLRA to make certain that the car can enter Australia and pass Customs. Arrangements for the liquids that the car needs to run will be certified. November 18th will find the car and crew at the World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville, Oregon. It will be introduced to the new members of the museum staff to acquaint them with the features of the car, it's goals and some history of it's build. The car will be on the dock for shipment December 18th. It's a busy time for Marlo Treit and the crew.

What makes you think they would not be coming?

The streamliner has been in Adelaide for over a week, they cleared customs and quarantine on Monday.
The team had to take every last thing out of the container for customs and then put it all back in.
Most of the team is here and Marlo certainly is.

We have just spent a great couple of days up at Lake G with the core Target 550 team members, and the word is GO!!
This does not mean that we may see some exceptional runs from this car from the outset, but rather we will witness the methodical process whereby something that has as yet, never been achieved in Land Speed Racing,- 500 MPH by a wheel driven (piston Engine)car!

Experience at our special place teaches patience. Run hard and run safe. All the best to the Target 550 team. Sounds like our Lake is as good as she gets so make the most of it.
