Valerie Thompson coming to Australia

It’s OFFICIAL! Team 7 Racing and I are heading to Australia to continue our quest to become the world’s fastest motorcycle at the 28th Annual Speed Week competition at Lake Gairdner in Southern Australia March 12 – 19, 2018.
Valerie Thompson and the Team 7 motorcycle streamliner will be competing at DLRA Speed Week 2018 (March 12 to 16) and the World Speed Trials (March 17 to 19) held at Lake Gairdner South Australia.

7-time Land Speed Record holder has become the world’s fastest female motorcycle rider reaching a speed 304.263 (489.663 km/h) on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, on September 1, 2016. Valerie and Team 7 Racing are in preparation for a world record attempt for the overall motorcycle land speed record in 2018. Current record is 376.363 mph.
Thompson is often referred to as “America’s Queen of Speed”, she has earned the famed “Red Hat” in the Bonneville 200 MPH Club, and is a member of the prestigious Bonneville BUB Speed Trial 201 MPH Club. Valerie has also earned her place in the Mojave Magnum 200 MPH Club, the ECTA 200 MPH Club, the Texas Mile 200 MPH Club and the Colorado Mile, including a personal best of 217.7 MPH (350.53 KM/H) on a BMW S 1000 RR at the Texas Mile in 2014
