Update on the condition of the Lake

Gents,
Has there been an update on the current condition of the lake?
Is sit still wet?
likely to be dry and hard enough for 08 assuming there is no rain?

I am going to the lake on Sept 19 th , so will do a report the following week when i get back . Part of a week long holiday in SA , staying 2 nights at Mt Ive station .

Scanning the weather map this morning there was light rain falling on the lower part of Lake G. What a bummer? Hope it dries up real fast.

Please some one tell me we have nothing to worry about and the rain is just a passing shower!!
I am starting to get a complex. Since I decided to go to the lake it gets wetter the closer we get to the race date
Hopefully all will be ok when I get back from overseas in a week
