Greg,

I shot you a pm but haven't heard back.

I'll be away for a few weeks as of tomorrow am and want to be sure the details for Cudal are included in the next newsletter so the non-internet crowd are aware of what's happening.

All the necessary details are in the tail end of this thread.

Cheers,
Rob

5 weeks before the cut off date fellas.
I've had a few people volunteer to help run things which is great.

Greg,

I'd still like to get something into the next newsletter if it comes out before the day (October 5th).

Cheers,
Rob

2 weeks left before the cut off date.

As mentioned prior, quite a few people have put their hand up to help run the day.

One or two have even generously offered to tip in $100 toward the hire fee and help keep costs down for those running.

What we're lacking, are people who have and want to run, a vehicle. If you know anyone with a DLRA log booked vehicle that is interested in a test and tune day, please give them a yell.

It'd be embarrassing to have to cancel the day for want of participants.

Cheers,
Rob

Thanks Spook,

Perhaps next year on a different long weekend.

Gary,

It's not worth winding yourself up about mate, I may have gone off many years ago, now I just shrug and move on.

Thanks Chris,

How's the XP coming?

Cheers,
Rob

Rob, perhaps consider a different time of year. I have found most guys have their vehicles in a million pieces at the moment. Just a thought. Pete. DLRA #6

Good point Rob. Frinstance my old Triumph is in bits at the moment with me attending to an out of balance crank. Also a trip to Cudal from Melb. and back for a 'Test and tune" is a bit expensive for me at this time of year. Maybe other drivers who considered going could indicate what times of the year would be best for them and thus giving you an indcation of the best month in which to stage the event.....Thanks again Russell.

Pete/Russell,

My original aim was for June but the process took too long to make that viable.
January would have been good but the government lost us the Australia Day long weekend.
Easter and Anzac day are too close after speed week.
Which brings us back to June or October long weekends...
October is a proven dud so that leaves June.

Any takers?

Russell,

You need to find another bike guy to share the trip/expenses

Cheers,
Rob
