I have it on good authority (straight from the horses mouth), a person who shall remain nameless, but who has the initials R.H. was the culprit for this sign.
When he found out it was decided to see if anybody noticed at the auction and offer a prize, but I think in all the excitement that was forgotten as well.
Just hope I can see that sign again next year!

Hey Plucka,I picked you for being a good one,(We will require your Name,Rank,& Badge Number,Just in case we get into trouble in S.A.-such as a typical salt racers problem- A BAC reading over 0.999)
Just kidding, we never blow over 0.635 (silly law that 0.050).
Plucky,Re:The hand. You are most welcome , I will go to great lengths to help genuine people (even if they happen to be coppers that love salt racing!!).I don't know what happened with your Monaro, must have been one of the last runs? I was off the lake about midday on Friday, only read about the damage here on the forum.
Send me a PM with your Email address, and i'll catch up with you.
Cheers , Bob.

Bob
I think I may have found the limits to the 1 piece fibre front. Never mind next year all steel. I PM but don't know if it went through.

Rocket
Thanks for that yes I was happy the way the Monaro come up especially first time out and this what its all about learning from the experience.
There are a few GT's up this way could be Angelo, Russell. You don't know Oatsy do you.

How true Cookey

GT Is Graham Tyler (Grahams Graveyard)

Oooooooo I didn't see about the front :? always next time I spose.

I'd like to add as a first timer my self (different to Cookey who is the current timer  ) I had a ball, I just couldn't get to see everything & meet everyone, though Monday I met plenty. But after an invite to joint a team (thanks again Mark :D 8) ) I kinda cut the sight seeing a bit short.
It sounds like we where lucky we had to go home Thursday morning

I got a framed set of photos that I took, for my birthday today to hang in the office, so it now takes pride of place along with the artical from the Adelaide Advertiser.

I just read in one of the news articles that Al Fountain got fastest speed.

What did he get it up to this year?
When I grow up I want to be a Land Speed Racer!
