NSW Meeting 16th August (NOTE: DATE CHANGE)

Post by Rob »

Spoke to Kev Saville today and he agreed that it's about time we had another meeting.

16th of August is the date, Camden showground.

Cheers,
Rob

Please count me in. Will we use the same venue in the showground at Camden? I will let Big Paul know.

We may have to Gary,

I'm looking for something more central but am also going way for two weeks so time is short.

Cheers,
Rob

It's going to have to be Camden Showground again, I've run out of time and will be AWOL from Sunday am for 2 weeks.

Maybe the free pavilion we spoke of Gary? 10am or ??

Cheers,
Rob

Sunday, 2nd August sounds ok. How many takers do we have. Me, you and BIG PAUL. I imagine Kevin will be in. Any one else?
It is a long way for you to come for a fizzer.

Gaz, Paul et al,

Spoke to Kev again today.

With the little response here to date and the swap meet date clash we pushed it back two weeks to the 16th, still at Camden showground and 11am kick off. Kev will bring a bbq so bring whatever you want to throw onto it.

I'll ring around and try to get a few more bodies along, we had 15 last time apparently.

Cheers,
Rob

OK - I'm still in.

Will convince Gaz to bring the Jag on the trailer again. It looks better now with the engine in place and the injection hat up at roof level!!

Sounds like a plan Paul,

I rang Terry Clift (DLRA #21) today and he's coming.

Grahame (Dreamliner200) shot me a pm, he's in the UK atm so an apology there.

Cheers,
Rob

G'day paul,

Depends on the vehicle mods I suppose. That's a lot of extra air to punch through unless it's an early (XK-P) Falcon or similar. Easy to put a cage in and lots of room for helmet clearances :)

Get him onto the board if he's on the net.

Cheers,
Rob

Hmmm panel van ( sedan delivery ) = station wagon - 2 doors and 1 seat .
Panel van can carry to lake , much gear , including beer , mattress and lady , not necessarily in that order .
