Just got back from the National Motor Museum and got a pic of an interesting bike.

At an Animal Lake Auction about 2 years ago someone handed up a john vevers "tea towel" . It went over everyones head as to the source of the tea towel .

The part I found interesting was that it was rained out in March 91.

I was there when this thing ran in 1991 ('92 was rained out). It was a complete failure, ran 91mph. If I remember right, they had the wrong plugs & nothing to replace them with. Vevers has since disappeared without trace. If you look closely, it is sitting on a brick in the middle because the frame broke as they were unloading it. Somewhere I have photos & also newspaper cuttings, just have to find them. Pete. DLRA #6.
