Was checking the rev limiter here at Tailem Bend so it was only around 8000rpm with a couple to go. Pushing the push rods.

murray brought in a twin triumph frame with a container of parts from the US and the frame has gone to perth to a current racer and will be on the salt with bonneville twins.

Back to the Gyronaut,, a cuppla months ago i was talking with Steve Ttremulis ( not sure of the relationship, Steve may be Alexs son),, Steve told me that thay were hopeing to have the liner on Bonneville next year, 2013, fully restoted and running, however he felt that the authorities wont let it make a pass as all the safety gear is as per original 1960's,,,, he also mentioned that due to the Gyronaut being there, a number of other "Old Salt Triumphs" were planning on showing up,, heres hopeing 2013 might be the year of Triumph at Bonneville,, 8) :D

There were a heap of Trumpys there this year at Speedweek including Kyle Malinky's "Double Vision" twin motor...... all those Trumpy's , I was expectin' to see a slick bigger than the Exxon Valdez...
...few understand what I'm trying to do , but they vastly outnumber those who understand why..
