VW Speedweek Racers

Last year I flew down from the U.S. to photograph and enjoy Speedweek and like you, with the event being rained out, and I had to settle for the F1 race in Melbourne. Through my friend, Tex Smith, I was able to visit the Hadfields in Castlemagne and obtain the pre-requisite 2012 DLRA Speedweek T-shirt, hats and patches. Since I cannot return this year to photograph the event for the VW LSR history I maintain, I would like to get in contact with all of the VW folks racing down under in land speed to get their stories and hopefully photos of their racers or under construction VW's so I can add their effort to the VW history files as well as for possible publication in various VW publications around the world.

I didn't see Keith Poole there this year so have a feeling he didn't make it, I will email you Glens email address (I'm sure he won't mind) and I gave my email address to the Findlays as I promised I'd send them some shots of their car. If / when they email me I will pass your details on.
