Re: Welcome to the Forum
Dear DRLA staff and Members:
I am looking forward to joining you at this year's Speed Week. I would like to thank Mr. Bob Ellis and Mr. Cled Davies for their kind invitation. I will first stop at the Clipsal 500 on Thursday to have a look at their operation and then head to Port Augusta. The following morning my trusty (hopefully) Britz Landcruiser camper van and I will trek on towards Lake Gairdner. Let's hope for good weather, not many flies and mosquitoes and some really fast times!
Regards,
Scott Andrews

Hi Scott, I hope you have a great trip and enjoy Australia and Lake Gairdner. If you have not been before you have a great experience ahead of you. Remember we drive from the right hand side of the vehicle and on the left hand side of the road.
Do you have any plans to see anything else whilst you are here ?

Re: Welcome to the Forum
I am going to visit a friend or two in Brisbane and then to Sydney to accompany my lovely wife to an Australian National Arabian horse show. My friensds in Brisbane live in Wights Mountain and I have a friend from Manly (Brisbane) that is going to meet me at the event at Lake Gairdner. It will be a grand trip and the jewel for me is the DRLA meet. I can't wait.
A good friend of mine gave me some good advice on driving in any country. If you as the driver are in the center of the lane that you are driving in then you are in the right place. It seems so simple. I have done this many times and I have made a mistake or two as well. I will be on my best behavior and try to rember my right from left. See y'all soon!

Re: Welcome to the Forum
Hey guys, I've just registered and am looking to learn a bit about what's involved in this sport. I am currently in between bikes, long time Katana fan and at the moment kicking Hayubusa tyres with a view to 200mph. I've learnt through past experiences, it's not hard to blow a budget wanting to go a bit faster.
Cheers Grant

Re: Welcome to the Forum
Hey there! I'm new here and I want to learn some new things about this sport. One day I really hope to come to Australia and participate in this contest. I've got a few friends there who are interested, but never joined. One day, maybe...
