Re: what classes ?
If you are that way inclined, get a Vespa Though I don't think these are OEM wheels...
In 2009 someone took a go-kart, your machine could probably run in whatever class that go-kart went in?

Re: what classes ?
The legend car you have shown has been built to a set of rules and regulations specifically compiled for a particular type of racing. To make it suitable for land speed racing would require considerable modification to the body and chassis to comply with the rules of the DLRA. Particularly the roll cage. You would probably be better off building a new chassis from scratch. These modifications would not be cheap or easy, I'm not saying it couldn't be done. I just want to make yourself aware of what you would be getting into.
S*#T I just saw who wrote the first post.....
But to finish this off, for future reference;
There is no class for this type of vehicle the way it is.
And the go-kart that ran was for time only, there is not class for go-karts and never will be. (Or tractors, or lawn mowers or toilets or household furniture)
To comply the legend car would require a new roll cage of the material, tube size and wall thickness specified, new seat and mounts, new seat belts, arm and leg restraints, a fire DLRA approved system, automatic fuel shut off, the interior of the car would need to be completely sealed from the motor and below and behind, tyres rated for the speed of the vehicle. This is just the basics, there are heaps more requirements
