Hi all,
It's been a while since my last post, and I have missed participating in the forum, but I am now able to spend some time on the things that I enjoy.
So now the slow build of my 68' Series 1 XJ6 will continue.
My original thought was to enter it into the E/Pro class (4.2, 6 speed box, 2.88:1-3.54:1 diff).
With the record at around the 180mph mark I am keen to try!
But now I am looking at other alternatives such as running a 5.7 LS1 and 6 Speed, but am not sure which class it would fit into. Possibly in the Modified Production somewhere?
This will ultimately decide how much I have to spend to be competitive, or even if I want to go to that level.
If anyone could give me some guidance it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jamie

Re: Class Clarification
Hey Animal,
Thanks mate for clearing that up.
Now I just have to decide which way to go, I guess that's part of the fun.
Cheers,
Jamie.
