Looking for characters....

Post by DLRA » Wed Feb 20, 2019 7:52 am

I have been contacted by a producer from SBS.
"I'm making a story about SPEED and why we like it so much.
If you could connect me with some characters/racers, who are competing at Dry Lakes that'd be great.
I can roam around on the day at the raceway and interview people on the go but it'd be helpful to get numbers before I go and conduct some interviews.
Possible range of people I'd like to speak to:
* Guys who are bit rough around the edges with a good sense of humour
* First time racers who are yet put their vehicles on the salt
* People who've dedicated their whole lives to 'speed'
* People who've been negatively effected by 'speed' - i.e. lost someone close to them from a car crash?" (Not my favourite thing)
Contact Marty Smiley (yes that's his name) at 042 3902 646
Even if it's just for a chat on the phone."
Gee where are we going to find some characters for him to talk to?
Keep the shiney side up........
