Post by DON NOBLE »

"ROMULUS MY FATHER" Aussie movie staring Eric Bana . Set in early 1960s in country Vic , around Maryborough and Ballarat . Castlemaine even gets a mention . Lots of period cars , but the best was the motorbike Eric Bana rode , an Ariel square 4 , what a sound , great . He also had a FE holden ute , i want one now . Oh yeah not a bad storey line .

I suppose you could consider your self told now

Eric Bana took on the part as it is so close to his own life story as coming from an Imigrant family.

I think Aust Street Rodding may have some photos and it was in all the papers on on the TV news in VIC.

I saw the movie also. It was very moving for I have a friend who has gone through a similar experience. I think the motorcycle was a Sunbean s8 500cc inline twin shaft drive. Cheers Russell.
