Motorbike inspection prior to leaving - SA
Is there anywhere /anyone in Adelaide who will inspect and advise whether my bike complys with regulations and rules? I have read the rule book but I'm not the tech inspector who gives the OK. Please help.
Re: Motorbike inspection prior to leaving - SA
did anyone volunteer to look at / check bikes in SA??
Re: Motorbike inspection prior to leaving - SA
where do you live in SA ?
i can do an “ unofficial “ look @ your bike
i’m in Adelaide southern suburbs
any easy way it to tick off the inspection sheet that is in the rule book
keeping in mind that is scrutineering , and not class compliance.

If you look at the list of contacts in the rulebook or on the website you should find the information you need.
The State Delegates are there to help you.

thanks guys.
I'm still building up for P-PC
and if all going well I could chuck another frame together and swap 2 motors for 2 classes in modified. a 250 and 125. if I'm allowed to do this?
best place to get leathers? i don't have a 1 peace
and in P-Pc do the check list over rule the originality, like do i run with original indicators taped up or can i remove them?
do i need a steering dampener in p-pc if the bike didn't come with one?
much appreciated.
Oh and what's the air density/ heat like at the lake. or should I say what's a good aiming point ?

Re: Motorbike inspection prior to leaving - SA
You could swap the engine into another frame, but this would generate another entry (and entry number) the bike would have to be inspected after the engine swap. So now you are talking 5 entries, this makes it a rather expensive excercise.
Contact Graham at motorcycledlra@gmail.com about your leathers
Regards production class, you do have to run original indicators if the bike came with them, they can be taped.
A steering dampner is required in all classes.
Lake Gairdner has a surface elevation of 121 m (397 feet)
You can expect it to be anywhere between 32 and 45 degrees during the day and down to about 16 to 18 at night.
