Hi Bob sorry i cant make it to your meeting I would like to ask your thoughts on bike week/car week my proposal would be we start bike week on the thursday through to sunday car week from monday through to friday purpose built vehicals could run at any time in bike/car weeks, There would be a lot more costs in running a longer event but in the long run more time to race means faster times for all I look forward to your input into the pros and cons of making this happen I would also remind you that the DLRA is one club not a heap of splinter groups so i will look forward to reading the minutes of your meeting. {sorry to hear your sheep is on the spit]

I'm keen for a longer meet, Thursday through Friday sounds good.
Would also be keen to let everybody run for the whole 8 days and get more runs that way.

Animal , i'll put in your apoligies tomorrow.Alot of concerns about the proposal you have , the main one being shortage of labour (helpers/volunteers),but it is a GREAT idea.
Yes we are in Qld and there is a chance of us oneday having our own event,but we are still DLRA , and want the best possible for the association.
