Heading South

Post by jpbyron »

Hi guys,

we are heading South to Lake Gairdner next year for the first time and are looking for any "must sees" along the way. Where we should stay, is there places where everyone meets for a cold one etc.
We are going to take a few days and enjoy the trip so any tips would be most appreciated.

Cheers JP

Hi jp

I would usually stay at Broken Hill as one of my stops.

The first time I left there early and I found a great place to have a real Road House Breakfast, 154kms after leaving Broken Hill on the Barrier H'way.

MANNAHILL REFRESHMENT STOP , Manna Hill SA, it's a little General Store run by really friendly folk, the Eggs are straight from the Hens out the back, the Coffee is hot and it's a good price.
