I'll be coming and possibly bringing a newby with me. One of the Dad's at my son's school collared me after he saw the DLRA stickers on my car and spent the next half hour telling me he always wanted to go and asking lots of questions about the lake....

All this PR I do and I don't get paid for.......... :D

pink & blue

Bob, I've just bought fifty 20 litre drums off e-bay. A mate who works for Dulux has promised me the paint by Saturday so the job is well in hand (as the actress said to the bishop). Another mate who works at Bunnings can get me toilet seats for about $8 each , do you want plain ones or the ones with a shell design on the lid?

Dave - I ended up at Bunnings late yesterday arvo getting some sample pots for the house and got a real nice shade of puce for my daughters bedroom. It's called "Passionate embrace" or something. I've got a bit left over if you want to do a test paint on a can.

none of that, thank you!

Paul, I painted my 15yo daughter's bedroom hi-viz orange, there'll be no passionate embracing going on in there!
As for the sample pot, I think I better check with Bob first.

serious face

Post by David Leikvold »

Don, you know how Bob gets that serious face when he isn't clowning around keeping us entertained? Yesterday he had me fooled when he gave me a job to do to get ready for Stanthorpe. He told me to get some 20 litre drums, cut the tops off and paint half of them blue and half of them pink and they would be the toilets. Maybe that should have been the sample potty! The wheels and tyres fit well by the way.
