Lynchy,you Dodo!,for the same reason you would Email your fax no.Here in Queensland,we have pumkin scones,and,you,you, mark my exams,there will be no talk about daylight saving,and as far as what the news.. people..people.. and you know who i think you are,Flo's scones will be ready soon, and we won't tolerate that sort of carry on in Qld,because day light saving will fade the curtains and make Emails fade away (A small tribute to our Joh Bejelke -former premier) Cheers,Bob. #66 C/GCC.

and to rub salt into the daylight savings wounds.... one of my co-workers just called from Adelaide telling me that they now have an extra week of daylight saving.

Just think of all that daylight that Queensland is flushing down the toilet every day (half flush, not full flush - gotta remember the water restrictions) while other states are using it up. And they call this the Sunshine State?

Now now Paul you just not thinkin like a Qlder yet . Just look at it from a different angle , we save our daylight at the beginning of the day , not at the end of the day when you all tired . Just get up an hour earlier , and have an hour of family free time in the shed , or leave home an hour earlier and beat the traffic . Also you have to go to bed earlier ( and that can be fun , I been told ) , theres nothin worth watchin on the TV anyway .

Guys , I was just wondering , I need some parts for my HQ and I had a thought ....they must be just about to release the HZ Holden in Queensland and I figure there'd be a lot of NOS HQ bit's goin' cheap?

hey dont you laugh , our Mr Ellis is drivin around in the latest model HZ ( me thinks ) one tonner Cambridge Concrete mobile . Me , well I nearly as wealthy with the latest model Nissan red wagon, Chris Hanlons XP ute is still a modern late model car , but have to admit Mathew Saunders must be going thru hard times , still drivin that old Fiat Toppolino . And theres still a few around stuck in them really old 32 fords , poor buggas .

I've got my XY Falcon and I hear they may be introducing the new aerodynamic XA sometime soon. It'd be nice to buy a new Phase 3 for $5k though. I hear that southerners will pay a bit more for them these days.

And Rudd the Dud was a Queenslander , but we got rid of him to Canberra for using too many big yuppy wanker words we dont really understand . We now busy putting a few extra stands of barbed wire on the dingo fence to stop him getting back in , with the Glorious Goddess of democracy and free speech Princess Pauline Hanson being appointed chief security officer of the fence .

Don, this morning's paper said they're changing the electoral rules so that the Goddess can't keep making an easy living by getting paid heaps more than she spends running her 4% support campaigns. Doc, Matt S's HQ is actually a 2005 model that was built at Holden's plant at Acacia Ridge. It just looks older because that extra hour of sunshine plays hell with the paint. Apparently they're all ready to start building VB Dunnydoors in 2015.
