Lakes Racer / Streamliner

Post by Cookey »

Hi All,
My plan has been (and still is) to be able to utilize components and equipment from my own (and others) street/strip vehicles in order to meet the "Need for Speed" each March at Lake Gairdner.
Being a dedicated Moparifile, you cannot expect anything less than quality and perfection in what will be this build diary
I suppose we need to start with the shed :!:

Benches to put bits on.

And thingys to shape the bits.

Plus some basic bits to play with

Plus :!: In an upcoming installment
THE BEER FRIDGE
Cheers,

Cookey I had the same problem with my shed according to Bob.
Seems like a common complaint this time of year.
All l had to do was add some swarf. I did that and now it looks like a suicide terrorist has backed a 747 beside the beer fridge. :D
Must admit l prefer your shed.

Time to come clean Chris.
The previous pics were from a few years back when I was gainfully employed corporate wise. and was setting up the shed.
Today's shots are more the case but once in a while guilt prevails (or I can't find something :!: ) and I have a bit of a tidy up.

Take it easy Chris
Yes it is a ute - '35 Willys to be exact but it is being built up for a customer with the 341 Desoto Hemi in it.
He does have a blown 417 Donovan sitting in his shed though

You've got me thinking now

Hey Cookey, I commend you for having that picture of Wild Willy Borsch on the wall, I haven't seen that for years. For those of you who don't know it, Willy had the Fuel Altered well sideways on full noise and was keeping it that way driving with only one hand on the wheel. What a showman! And by the way, your shed looks even better than my tarp
