There are clearance issues beneath the bonnet, I haven't measured yet but everything in these is close. As an example, to fit extractors you have to pull the engine.

More like bird crap and dust Goggles!

Hey Rob

Really happy to see that you're back on the Job ... that's a pity about that 1uz Site ... a similar thing happened with an RGV site ...

Thanks Pete,

Just don't expect stellar progress. When it's done, it's done.

Cheers,

Found what I was after, no dimensions as yet but may have a solution coming with any luck.

Rob,
For dimensions its easy, assembly the dummy block with heads. Drop it to your local CNC mill shop and ask them to "clock it up" and give you the pics.
That way it will be accurate. Won't take em too long, and cost will be worthwhile.

Thanks Chris,

This plate goes between the 1UZ lower inlet manifold and RB26DETT throttle bodies, no block or heads required.

I have a friend in the US with software, I should have the CAD file back soon he says. He is also going to price getting it supplied and cut there given we'll be seeing him in August.

Cheers,
Rob

v-eight.com was excellent, I am greatly saddened that it has been let go.

Lextreme is fair at best with lots of the info being unreliable.

A day late and a dollar short.. story of my life Stayt'ie :D Thanks all the same.

I do have a mate here with a CAD/CAM machine shop at Lidcombe but didn't know his email address, such is the digital age that sending to the US was easier than chasing him down.

quiet happy to answer here, "no" :) ,, 'bout six, seven years ago we changed programes and i had a complete set of the old original discs and the dongle in my office draw for years, i was often tempted to take them home but ended up throwing them out one day when we had a big cleanup at work,,

end of hi-jack, :)

The 3 dimension picture you have pictured is questionable to the program !
In plan veiw ...it looks as the intake runner holes are round at the top and square at the bottom..
Is this correct ? If so , this part is to be made on a 4 axis CNC wire cutter.
Just so happens... I have the "Teachers version" of mastercam 9. :P sort of a loop hole thing :D
If you have the plan veiw of that drawing I can put measurement to it. accurate to 3 zeros..
Or I can send you the programme and you can learn it yourself..

Just saying..
Ross.
IT IS ALL A RACE AGAINST TIME.
