Taking shape (still empty)

Barrels have been ported and matched to the cases, heads welded up and reshaped to current 250 GP spec, TYGA chambers, modified reed blocks including fitting custom (home made) splitter, new bearings in wheels swing arm headstem, new chain and sprockets, new tyres.

Will be going on the dyno next week some time, hoping to get mid 60 RWHP.
Not bad for a 1/4 Ltr, if only they kept going with development and made 1 Ltr 2 strokes. :D

Thanx
Dave

I was wondering what it did. I was talking to the owner and he said it was going to be a slow run to test the aerodynamics.
They must be pretty good.
Cant wait for him to open it up lol.

2011 is looking like "the year of the bumble bee" , my son just took posession of a '91 RGV 250 too, and it only took one visit to the lake this year to get him hooked, lol.

Dave, what is the rod above the rear sprocket, is that part of the chain gaurd seeing as the rear gaurd is part of the chain gaurd, im trying to make and fit a chain gaurd to a motocross bike, cheers Graeme.

off tap
mps-g 100 or m-g 100.
are you using alcohol? you can use racing fuel (petrol) and still be in gas class
we are using 100octane leaded or better in the 80
