That pesky leak would have the potential to upset your A/F readings Dave, not a good thing for an over stressed engine to deal with (and survive)

Hey Tiny, yep it would have put all of my theoretical jetting out thats for sure. Im going to get it on a dyno and check the A/F before next year and set it up as fat as it will go and still run. I can always lean it out on the lake.

Just got the bike fired up today. Gave it a run on unleaded then a run on Methanol, then a purge on unleaded again. The neighbours must love this time of the year.

:D :D I know what you mean Dave, I had an AV gas lap of the lane, taller gearing needed a bit of clutch & throttle play resulting in 5,000 revs and 100+ db, the return was a feeble attempt of discretion, but the "hunting" translated into slow motion chain snatch, all good, mission accomplished anyhow

Good news Dave .....

One of the advantages I have here ..... The local Mechanic (two houses down from me) has a Blown Burnout Car ....

The RGV is hardly noticeable compared to that thing .... It's great

I think it was Dave on the start line had a DB Meter last year. The bike was 112 DB warming up on the line with him standing 1 mtr in front of it. These pipes are a bit quieter, I think becaust of the 1mm material compared t the 0.7mm of my old pipes.

Sounds like we are all on track for next year. 2016 Year of the 250's

Dave.

Pete AKA Salt Peter has a pic of Paul Penny with a sign like they use at the golf "QUITE" that he held up when Pete started his bike a cpl of years ago.

Ill grab some ear plugs from work for anyone that feels the need to muffle the lovely sound of a cpl of 250's at FULL NOISE.
