I reckon the Colonel could probably date the scoot, tell you what tyre that is and give you a paint code, but he's lazy and cunning enough to know that Paul would pipe up anyway. Actually if there's something wrong with that scooter the Colonel could probably diagnose the problem just from that photo......

Only been gone 24 hours and Skips working for the wogs.. :D

[quote="ben james"] so what do you do in your spare time?

Play with me belly button..

[quote="ben james"] with that advance & compression how do you plan on starting it?

Try to trick it into firing up on its own starter motor,If that fails .. bore a hole in the alternator cover ,fit a nut and a seal to the end of the crank and use the streamliner starter.

............THE VESPA........

I remember the day that the "VESPA' showed up..
Bought its own mud wasp
The owner proclaimed it didn't go and then stoutly waddled off. About an hour later ,half of that time was spent negotiating terms with his "Supreme magistey" the WASP I was allocated time to look at the Vespa only while his worship was out collecting MUD.
....SEEMED FAIR ......
Anyway.. While KING" MUD GUTS " was out checking out his newly acclaimed mud mines , I did get a chance to look at the Vespa .... What the hell ...turn the key and kick it ... Dang thing started second kick  Straight to the phone I went ::: Come and get ya scooter, theres nothing wrong with it...and ya beeter be QUICK cause MUD GUTS appears to be somewhat irrtated about smoke coming out of his joint.... That was eight months ago.....

What are you two talking about :?: :?: , all of my turboed Kawakas were started using a remote starter via a 1 1/8" nut attached to the alternator end of the crankshaft , said nut was keyed, never had any problems 8) ,,,, only nut that gave any problems was the one riding the bike

Rear brake controls roughed in..
Had to machine out back of the bracket to fit the master cylinder because of the wider swing arm.
cut down the splined pivot and make the other bits
The more I do ,the more I see there is to do :|
Back to it.......
