Don't tempt me with the BOSS HOSS Grumm .
Actually do have a 502 Donovan laying around here looking for something to do... 8)
Good to see ya on the forum Mark.. ( 69fastback )

First picture: From the outside in. Cant show one from the inside out or I,ll end up with the council round here letting me know that the workshop ends at the door and not the other side of the road..
PRETTY FULL AT THE MOMENT..

Image

Second picture.. TRIKE... This is being built for a customer whom is confined to a wheelchair and doesn't
fell the need to have to get out of it to go to the pub.
My angle on this .... BUB has addmitted trikes to the BONNIEVILLE this year ,all thats left to do is talk him into going...

Image

Third picture.. STREAMLINER.. Hate to say it but not much has been done..
Protective fuel line became an issue .. the way the liner was sitting on the stand made it impossible to finish the pumps and lines , so the stand had to get to phase 2 of its build before much more could happen
tha stand is also to be the liner retreival trailer (so more to go )

Image

NEXT UP : A close up of the front slide pin placements . these aren't completely finished yet but are ussable for the time being. these will make it easier to load the bike and fit covers before a run..
the liner will be able to be fully dressed on the stand before being released out into the wild..

Benny
I think it's KERMIT's distant cousin KERMITA...
Actually the boy's that own it, just bought it
Its in here getting some frame modifications and the engine pulled down just to have a "stickybeak" as you put it . they are not really sure of it's history . Maybe WA OR USA somebody on the forum might have seen it running in AUS before . but it looks like a while ago...

"PAINT IT BLACK "
Funny you should say that. Thats what they said..
The wheelie bar supports are getting changed and a couple of engine cradle braces are to be put in.
The tyre is 8/26x 15 and with that much grip its twisted the rear engine mount.

hi Ross,
mine runs the same rear tyre,
it has a motor plate as you can see in the photo.
would love to have a look at the left engine mount on KERMITA just to see where it twisted the engine mount.

IT's the engine mount bolt mainly
Couple of reasons
The first : the rear engine mount bolt is actually surposed to be 11mm , people seem to be able to miss place them or find some other use for them and end up sticking a 10 mm bolt in da ole "sheel be right attitude" gives it just enough movement to give it a fair wollup when da clutch gets let go in anger.

the second: there really needs to be a support from the engine plate to what you would sort of call the swing arm pivot . this has had one fitted ..... recently ...... by the look of it... all to late for that bit the damage has allready been done..

thanks for showing me that photo Ross,
i can now rest a bit easier in knowing that my engine plate is very well supported around the swingarm pivot area.

If there's a plus side to salt being "postponed" its that most of my customers think that I'm currently at or on my way to the lake...
That gives me about two weeks of free streamliner time. :D
The last couple of days have being spent "roughing in" the canopy..
and the next couple of days will be spent remaking the front bonnett..
