G'day Ross and welcome aboard.

For an image top show here you need to first upload it onto the internet somewhere, either your own homepage or at a third party host such as www.photobucket.com.

Once you have them on the net you can link to them here and they will show up in your post(s).

To do so you need to copy the address of your image wherever it is located online, came back here and press the Img* button once, (this inserts "img" between square brackets[]) then paste the image address and hit the Img* button a second (which adds /img again within square brackets) time to provide the second piece of code.

Alternately you can just type the two codes in maually with your image address between the two, the button merely saves time typing.

You can not upload an image from your PC directly to the forum as you can on some other forums.

Hope this is clear enough, if not, ask again and I or someone else will help you work it out.

Cheers,
Rob

As a quick example, here is an image address from the internet:

http://www.safilm.com.au/library/Lake-G ... 2_main.jpg

and here is the same image address with the img and /img tags within the square brackets []

ALL SYSTEMS GO !
THANKS TINY, ROB & THE WEBMASTER FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HELP SORT THROUGH THESE LOADING PROBLEMS. :D
AS Im only capable of loading one picture at a time for the moment
updates will be average.
The bike will be running 3 ZZR11OO methanol engines with cross over vernier geared crankshafts belt driven engine to engine through to a heavily weighted locker clutch with gearbox only in rear engine. The engines will be timed as a 12 cylinder to create the least stressfull linear power. Then transmitted to an idler gear located on swing arm pivot to aid in sprocket size selection & remove chain slap through suspension movement (as seen in picture ) as other pictures are put up I will try to explain the reasoning behind the style of the build !
The bike is in the 4th year of its hopefully 5 year build ,the first 2 years was spent sketching plans finding parts & building the primary jig.
The first peices of bar work were laid down in july 2008.
Reading through this site & the American site have been a good education & somewhat funny at times.
USE WIL HAV TO EXCUSE MY SPELIN AND GANMA AS I HAD ESCAPED
SCHOL WEN JUST 14 (THOUGHT I NEW EVERYTHING )
I THOUGHT WRONG .

Well done Ross,

Looks like an interesting project you have going on up there.

If you delete your original photo and upload it to Photobucket again with the same name (though right way up  ) it will show up in your post the right way up with no changes to the text.

I like the T-Bird too.

Cheers,
Rob

Wow Ross, that's an impressive first few posts!
Three engines!
Serious!
I like the swing arm, are you saying it pivots about the chain sprocket centre/ hence no chance in tension with suspension movement?
Please post some more pics! :P

Ross

Does the "Rider" sit in front of the front wheel?

YES LYNCHY THE RIDER CERTAINLY DOES SIT IN FRONT OF THE WHEEL .
Its not quite like sitting on the handle bars of your push bike & having the rider rotate around the chassis . The suspension & steering is somewhat like a BIMOTO motorcycle but in reverse . the steering hub itself is version of the DIFASIO HUB .( not actually shown in picture ) will show correct picture when i find it .many streamliners use this system in different versions
From what Ive read the baine of motorcycle streamliners is the destruction of front tyres due to not enough downward force at speed.
Being strapped in as you are leaning the bike into a side wind is somewhat diffuclt & a rider will pull full lock just to stay on course
this in time will strip the front tyre & eventually trip the bike. putting the
rider in front of a bike this long 23 feet 7 meters should minimise this effect but hopefully not have adverse affectt (this can be controlled by areo )
FRONT SUSPENSION POWER IS & RIDE HEIGHT ARE EASILLY ADJUSTED

WOW !
Well done Ross !
With your chain setup, how small is the sprocket @ swing arm pivot ?, the reason I ask, is that Chris Fraser once built a twin rg 500 engined speedway outft, with side by side engines running a jackshaft to couple the engines (both engines had their gearboxes)
He had no end of trouble with the chains stretching as they whipped around the two c/shaft sized sprockets, this problem led to the shelving of the bike after a short competitive life.
Even my missus cracked a fat when she saw your T Bird pic, as she had to leave her '64 Bird in the 'states when she came to Oz and married me !
