Re: DLRA G6 Test Day
Ok the car is a VP commodore fitted with a VE commodore 6lt and 6 spd trans , it has a small cam , custom air intake , custom exhaust and makes 320rwkw , the diff is VK commodore salisbusy and it has front and rear coil over suspension . The link is to some footage taken at a test day at Tailem Bend , this pass was at 137mph on the GPS but it is estimated ( by the tach ) that the best run of the day was 145mph in third ( with lack of track lenght + big bumps and no brakes this was as fastest as we could go )

Bumps?....how big?turbo RB wrote: with lack of track lenght + big bumps and no brakes this fastest we could go )
...few understand what I'm trying to do , but they vastly outnumber those who understand why..
Re: DLRA G6 Test Day
The car weights 1450kg no ballast , has 1000lb front springs and 400lb rears with only 50mm of travel front and rear , at 135mph we were leaving two foot long black marks from bump induced wheel spin , at about 3/4 track there is a fare dip , I would recomend a chute at anything over 135mph to avoid braking through dip ( in this car )
