Hey Harky
Do you have any of the road gear for the rgv?
I'm thinking of buying a mates blown up track bike and putting big dirt bike engine in it for the road.
I need everything.

Hey Auto
Seeing as you are a 2stroke guy---
are you interested in a 500 Krauser
It would make a fantastic 500 A bike--- maybe 180hp with the right pipes.

The original Open Air Box

New "Air Filtration System"

It's basically a Filter Foam Sock. It has lots of Area and Clearance, I'll know soon if it works.

Pete, lookin good mate,, are you going to build an airbox around the foam, and are you going to pipe, RamAir, to feed the box, :?: ,, im thinking that with the airflow around your bike at speed, there is going to be a "dead area" around your air box area,,,

Thanks Ron,

From watching what some of the UK Race Blokes have done, Ram Air and RGV's don't work too well ( very complicated to set up for very little gain ).

My engine is not much more than a midly modded Stocker at this stage, and this is virtually a Std Airbox and a Big Foam Lid with lots of clearance around the Carbs.

Normally the the Stock Airbox with the Full Lid sits completely under the Fuel Tank and has Two Small Tubes facing Backwards under the Seat as the Air feed.

I will still have a Cool Air Feed set up and this is a barrier to the Salt making it's way into the Airbox like it did this year.

My Postie Bike Gear shift.

Image

I rode a Postie Bike for 15 years so I set up this type of Gearshift so I can keep my foot inside my Fairing.

It is set up as a Race Pattern Push Down to change up through the Gears. It worked great this year.

Hey Tiny

That is only the Left Hand side I got another one for the Right Hand side,

I just hope my old legs have enough room inside the fairing so I can peddle fast enough.
