We will need to run an outboard bearing on both shafts Dave, as you pointed out the input shaft and output shafts at both designed to be supported by the spigot bearing and extension housing bearings respectively.

A hit of NO2 won't do the job, it's getting everything moving forward enough to be able to fully engage the clutch with gearing high enough to pull the top speed Greg's after, need to increase the gap between bottom gear ratio and top gear ratio.
As Ross said, it's why Ack pushes off, BUB tow starts and Sam is putting another gear in.

If your power band is wide enough you could go with a wider ratio box ($$$$), if your power band isn't wide enough you need more ratios so you don't fall out of the power on a shift.

To those with dry sump experience, how tall does the tank need to be and how many de-aeration plates are needed?
Guessing you return at a vector up the top and draw from a taper in the base?

Worth researching all the aftermarket trans builders. A company called Burt do a lot of speedway transmisions worth a look too.

Laycock or Gear Vendor overdrives may also be an option.
Rated at 450hp, electric shift, 0.82:1 overdrive.

I know it's all $$$ but maybe adapting another MC box and only use 4th, 5th and 6th??

I thought Overdrive ratios increased the power losses through a Trans?

Would a set up work that engaged 1st in the engines gear box then started off using the AuxBox 1st reduction, 2nd reduction, 3rd 1:1, then change through the Engine Trans 2nd 3rd etc.

electric OD have potential

the trouble with motorcycle boxes is shaft direction, you need another gear drive in there to put it right
i have a gearbox cut off a dead 750 motor i have sat in position , that was v1 ,thats when the old aussie 3 speed looked like a better alternative
and now i suppose we just need more info about other alternatives like the lekky od
once the price from the gear box specialists scares me it will be easier to decide

Robinson etc are just regeared busa boxes and have pretty tall ratio changes,, back to the direction of rotation problem

While there is little info coming back from businesses during the holiday period i made some basic shapes for the body shape that fit around the motor, its a bit taller than the original intended waterbottle motor, plus i want to supply the motor air from above the driver and exit the exhaust in the same line further back , giving a basic crush zone up top if it all turns to shit ,keeping all the hot stuff up top , and hopefully getting a good clean ait supply to the motor

not set in concrete yet but i think pretty close
cutouts also show the position of the intended new side bar to square up the sides and help me fit
currently the sides taper in and it gets tight at the shoulders when i am in full race gear , impeding movement for steering , controls and seat belt position

Anyone have ideas about calculating the position of the air inlet so its out of the disturbed air
unless advised differently i was thinking pretty much a tube forward of the bodywork ending pretty much above the front of the head plate
and the bodywork blending from the current to the new shape as shown

Quick update
Jon is giving me a hand with some CAD to modify the overdrive gearbox , and Cottam Engineering are doing the work
ended up with a laycock out of a Volvo , but otherwise pretty much tied up with finishing a few bikes to put on the boat to USA for the coming season

And finished the installation of the new for me dyno (otherwise called a very old Dyno Dynamics dyno)
now to finish wiring the 750 for its new Link ecu and i can see if the auto tuning is as easy as i'm told :D

Be easy Bones, local bearing supply actually stocks 205 l drums of Methanol
seems there are a few cars, bikes and boats running it in the area
