I tried to keep everything as low as I could. The sump needs 25mm cut off for 60mm ground clearance and the airbox is still higher than the steering head.
Thinking about changing the inlet tract to lower the throttle bodies.
The steering head is only 30mm higher than the other bikes
These engines are BIG.
A 1000 or 750 would fit without much work, and plenty of room out front for a turbo

Looks nice Bones.
The chain run is pretty long, any idlers or similar happening in there?
Are your sholders above or behind the airbox?

Jon, something will have to happen with a chain guide but I don't know yet. Maybe a roller or a guide block.
I will have to sort out water tanks and the rest of the stuff that will be around there.
At the moment my chin sits on the airbox so I guess my shoulders are behind.

A few more tubes have been added. I think it is strong enough.
The tubing is 25mm x 2.4 wall. The cross braces are 25 x 1.6
I was trying to make the front of the chassis symmetrical until I measured the engine mounts and worked out that it's not.
The fuel tank and water tank, if I use one, will fit in from the back.
Hope to have it on wheels this week.
I'm enjoying the welding after not being able to for 6 years

Ronnie
It's a XZ12--- want a spare?-- drop by and pick it up

Johno
The chain is long but it was in one length so I must have used it to setup something.
I'll have to do something about a guide.

Looking good Bones, nice and narrow in the waist.

Welding is good, so you haven't been rewired for sound then.
That Gen2 radiator is still hanging on my wall if you want it to reverse the pipes.

Leaving on the 21st.
I should have said something before and put it in the container.
