Running K7 forks for height and better trail geometry Checked the front forks ...K7 forks as they are a bit longer ( which is what I want) but one side was bent about 4mm :(

I used the press to straighten the 4mm bent tube, best I could get was .004 thou. run out, I'm happy with that as the other tube was new and had .003 thou run out.

Just tidying up the top fork yoke, giving the handle bar risers the flick for less drag and run clip ons.

The springs were pretty crappy with unequal lengths and pressure, swapped around a few sets of springs and now have equal length and preload pressure , checked them on a spring rate tester.........piece of pipe and kitchen scales..........all good :D

I am making a 100mm longer swingarm so had a bent one that I cut the end off, I'll clean it up on the lathe and use it on the new arm.

The standard swing arm I primed today is plan B, I am using skinny 21 inch wheels on a narrow 100mm longer arm as plan A......if I cant get enough traction I'll have the standard swingarm and wide 18 inch wheel ready to go............and a big fat guts on rear.

Looking at two options for the tacho, got a new late model Honda cable type or the small electronic , the small unit will be the best for windage but not sure if I will be able to read it in the direct sunlight ?

Just to confuse things I am helping a mate with his old honda cb 750 engine but is bored to 1,000 cc......putting it into a later frame.

So I am preparing two K3 750 class hondas.......one for spare
He will have a late frame but old K2 750 modified engine 1,000cc

All about the old Honda's this trip :D :D :D

Raised the ports from horizontal to 18 degrees........Picked up a lot of flow. unfortunately I cant run the head on the standard frame due to hitting the frame rails so in the big motor in the wide railed frame.........I love this shit man :D :D :D
