Hey Cooky
Fabulous work -- but I have a question
My steering system has handlebars so I might be talking out my ass
The tie rods? connected to the steering rack seem to be at a big angle and looks like the ends of the rack might bend.
Does this angle give better steering geometry?

The photo tends to distort the actual angle of the steering tie rods and the front end isn't at the running ride height. No way I can see the rack ever bending.
Hopefully the front suspension arms will be ready to pick up from the laser cutters this coming week and I can then put the project on 4 wheels and it becomes a CAR :D :D :D :D :D :D

Working on the nose cone mock up this weekend. :) :)

Cookey, this is impressive, you have skills. Is the nose cone the spinner off an A36 bonanza?

Not really sure what aircraft the spinner is from as I have been working on getting this Meteor V12 ready to run for the Greenock Aviation Museum and it was up in the storage loft so I borrowed it for a trial and it looks perfect.

Aware of that vital statistic Grumm :) :)
And I was told on Sunday that there are 2 more of those tip tanks currently residing in a yard in the Adelaide Hills!!
