"GREG WATTERS" 253mph
Yesterday Greg Watters went 256mph at the WORLD OF SPEED meeting at Bonneville, and backed up the run today with a 250mph
Apperantly setting the fastest run on a sit on bike in SCTA history of 253mph..
Kim Krebs also ran 220mph ,earning herself a red hat.
Way to go, the pair of ya's .....
and still the "SHOOT OUT " left...

IT IS ALL A RACE AGAINST TIME.
TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE.
HOW FAST CAN YOU GO ?

lets not forget our "Honoury Aussie" Jim Higgins went 208 on a 201 record, ,,
yup, considering Gregs only had a handfull of passes on the 'Busa, just how fast will this thing go, ,,,

Re: "GREG WATTERS" 253mph
Thank all
Actually surprised me when i heard the speed, knew it was faster than i had been before but it was the first pass with the bike running well and after the 750 did not seem to have the same rpm range , kept hitting the limiter
had the go pro on : http://youtu.be/VrbgNNETjBY
Kim reset the record again on the 750 now faster than my 750 records at 229mph with 2 runs at nearly the same speed
Jim gave up the ride on my busa as a naked bike for Neill to have a shot at a red hat , which he did in fine style with consecutive 224mph passes
Salt was realy good, we should rethink just how dry we need it to run, there was a lake to drive through to get to the dry pits and track
surface was damp and could make a wet pad with a foot scuff, and it had great grip and gave good handling, maybe concrete dry is a pie in the sky and we should accept its a one in 10 yr nicety but not a necessity to race
