Afflick - Afflick & Afflick - AAA Land Speed Racing Team

For those poor souls who don't do social media JP just set an average of 106mph to be the fastest 100cc bike in any class!

Yeehah AMA record in the books.
It was a long day, at the salt at 7:45am for a 8am drivers briefing. We then got the bike ready and headed for pre stage at 9am. It's a different system having 3 different starting lines and also bikes doing return runs on the opposite direction. At 2.15pm after waiting in 35 degree heat all day we got the call to fire the bike up. So you ride about 100 meters turn left onto the track and go for it, I probably went a bit lazy into the mile trying to be nice to the bike and ran 103.8mph to qualify. We then headed to impound and attempted to do our usual service but had a few issues with rules and just smiled and said ok. At 4.40pm we did our run in the opposite direction, this time I was on the gas and ran 108.6mph to set the APSBF100 AMA record at 106 and be the fastest 100cc record in the books out of all classes. We are exhausted after such a long hot day but stoked to have the fastest 100cc bike across three sanctioning bodies, DLRA (Dry Lakes Racers Australia), SCTA (Southern Californian Timing Association) & AMA (American Motorcycle Association). It's one bad ass 100cc bike.

Thanks to everyone who has helped during our trip, Dad & Jo for being here and getting it done.
Keep the shiney side up........
