Just read this on Facebook
Greg just went down in the breaking zone at the Colorado mile.
He was standing back up and walking before any crash response vehicles could even get halfway to him.
He is an incredibly lucky man and one tough Aussie SOB.
Update from Kim
He's ok. Broken thumb and used all the leather in his gloves.

Re: Greg Watters
From Greg himself
"Thanks everyone ,
Simple break on the thumb and a few bruises
Emergency guys were there real fast , and took no chances making sure I was ok ,if it had been more serious I would have been in good hands"
Jim Higgins reckons "New track record, slid 1001 feet"

Re: Greg Watters
Probably somewhere between 200 and 180 , i had braked a little before locking the front tire and lowsiding
The thumb, bruising and wore through my right glove using it as a brake and rudder
Lucky there was little to hit
