Bub's is near

Post by firemanjim »

Hey,Gary,Wayne,Dave,Ronnie, and the rest of you lot, got the bikes ready to go and packing gear ensues. Will be heading for Bonneville on saturday early to get set-up.
Spent friday last in dyno room with another of my friend's getting his turbo Gix 1000 dialed in. He was happy with the 340 HP we saw.Got to run in my son's little FJ 600 turbobike,it ran sweet, had 12 lbs boost and good A/F ratios but unable to get a good tach reading so no HP #'s. My Buell goes on tomorrow but is looking and sounding great.
Will be good to see old friends on the salt.Should be a hoot!!
Wish you all could be there.

Actually,Gary--if I was running under SCTA rules instead of the Bub's meet they would be.It is next year I will be "outside the law" as I will have S&S cases.
You and your bike are welcome anytime.
A couple of passes yesterday finally.Running too fat but put down 185 HP.Rejet today.

Run her as fat as she'll tolerate Jim. if you have the time on the dyno have a trial plan with AF's as a function of power..you might be surprised how the sensitivity looks....

air is always a little different when ya up high and real hot

good luck man
